Elders in the 11th district reported their problems to the mayor of Herat

Elders, transit lawyers, and residents of the 11th District met with Ghulam, the mayor of Herat, to discuss their environmental problems and the level of implementation of development projects in the area.
They cited service imbalances in the implementation of development projects by partner agencies with the municipality, increased self-builds by local residents and irregularities in the markets in the area as major problems and called for the attention of the Herat municipal leadership.
Ghulam Hazrat Mushfiq of Herat stated that the municipality's office has been working to implement development projects in a balanced manner and is using its existing facilities to develop more and more urban areas.
Herat mayor also added that transit lawyers play a key role in the development of the city between the government and the people, and that the municipal administration, in cooperation with the transit lawyers, can take effective steps towards having a modern city with standardized facilities.
