Inauguration and Commencement of the Green Space Development Project on the Northeastern Side of the Herat Provincial Governor's Office.

The Green Space Development Project, located on the northeastern side opposite the Herat Provincial Governor's Office, was officially inaugurated and commenced. The project covers an area of 1,615 square meters and is being implemented at an estimated cost of approximately AFN 2.5 million, funded through the Herat Municipality's Development Budget.

To expand green spaces and reduce air pollution, the Green Space Development Project located opposite the Herat Provincial Governor's Office (northeastern side), covering an area of 1,615 square meters, was officially inaugurated and commenced by Haji Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani, Mayor of Herat. The project is being implemented at a cost of AFN 2,450,770, funded through the Herat Municipality's Development Budget. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Engineer Mohammadyar Shahab, Inspector of the Urban and Sectoral Services Department, Engineer Sabawoon Kakar, Inspector of the Municipality's Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Qari Ahmad Shah Abdali, Head of the Sixth Municipal District, along with a number of officials from the district.

This project is being implemented with the aim of expanding urban green spaces, enhancing the city's appearance, reducing air pollution, and creating a healthier and more pleasant environment for residents in the area.

Meanwhile, a number of Herat residents welcomed the launch of the project, describing it as an important step toward beautifying the city, increasing green spaces, and improving environmental conditions. They also expressed their support for the continuation of similar development projects throughout the city.

On the other hand, representatives of the project's contracting company assured that the work would be carried out in accordance with technical standards and completed within the specified timeframe before being officially put into operation.

It is worth mentioning that the project is scheduled to be completed and handed over for public use within a little over three calendar months by Khalid Sair Construction and Road Building Company.
