Getting addicts out of the boulevards and green areas of Herat Central Street

Abdul Zahir Mukhles, head of technical and sectoral services at Herat's municipal administration, said citizens had lodged numerous complaints about the growing number of drug addicts on the boulevards, blaming them for destroying the green space of boulevards and parks.

Mr. Mokhles stated that the officials of the Technical and Sectoral Services Department of Herat Municipality, in another action, after receiving complaints from citizens, took action to remove the addicts inside the boulevards of the streets and roads and asked them not to gather on the boulevards.
The head of technical and sectoral services of the municipal administration considers the protection and care of green space, especially boulevards, in addition to the responsibilities of this department, as one of the basic responsibilities of citizens in accordance with the law. Entertainment parks, especially boulevards, are emphasized.
