Planting of 5 thousand seedlings on the slopes of Herat roof and Ali Mafaq Street Boulevard

During a wide-ranging celebration of National Day of Planting (20 Hut) attended by Herat Governor Abdul Qayum Rahimi, Herat Governor Ghulam Mushfaq, heads and officials of local offices, deputy and members of the Advisory Council, civil society organizations, and local city lawyers. Herat 6,000 seedlings were planted on the slopes of the Herat Roof Route and the Provincial Street Boulevard.
Ghulam Hazrat Mushfiq, the mayor of Herat, said that during a high-level presidential decree, Hut was designated as a national day of planting, he said that in recent plans of the department, about 6,000 seedlings were planted in the roof of Herat.
The mayor of Herat emphasized that the municipality's administration plans to plant and irrigate the roofs of Herat's roof and other green areas in the city and said it will plant about 80 - 100 thousand saplings in the planting season next year. He also emphasized that the municipal administration is focusing on developing a benchmark system for irrigating the city's green space, especially in the northern parts of the city.
The Herat Municipality leadership is calling on the public to contribute to the planting program for better development of the city's green space.
