Mayor of Herat and Accompanying Delegation Inaugurate and Launch the AFN 4 Million Road Paving Project at the End of Erfan Township in the Sixth Municipal District.

The road paving project at the end of Erfan Township, located in the Sixth Municipal District of Herat City, was officially inaugurated and commenced by Haji Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani, Mayor of Herat. The project involves paving a road measuring 290 meters in length and 8 meters in width, at a total cost of AFN 4 million, funded through the Herat Municipality's Development Budget. The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the relevant municipal departments, community elders, neighborhood representatives, heads of the Sixth District Development Councils, and a number of local residents.

Meanwhile, many residents of Erfan Township in the Sixth Municipal District welcomed the launch of the road paving project, describing it as an important step toward improving transportation conditions, facilitating easier movement, and enhancing their overall quality of life. They also expressed their appreciation for Herat Municipality's commitment to the balanced development of different areas across the city.

Representatives of the contracting company also assured attendees that the project would be implemented in accordance with technical standards, completed with high quality, and delivered within the specified timeframe.

It is worth mentioning that the project is scheduled to be completed and handed over for public use within three calendar months by Bonyad Saz Kohan Construction and Road Building Company.
