Financial Management System Awareness Campaign (IFMS) launched in Herat municipality and fifteen urban areas

The Financial Management System (IFMS) Awareness Campaign was launched with the presence of the Chairman and Head of Revenue, Accounting and Administrative Affairs, Technical and Sector Management Officers, Municipal Districts and Advisory Board Members, and Transit District Attorneys.
The campaign aims to introduce the system, financial and administrative processes (budget models, calculations, salaries, product safeguards, corporate licenses, miscellaneous revenues, reports, information transfer and incentive projects) and how these will work in the core and fifteen metropolitan areas. Effortless.
Herat municipality officials described the system as a positive step towards electronizing government affairs, combating corruption, accelerating service delivery and economic growth, and expressed the efforts of local councils' independent departments and technical cooperation to establish the system in each Herat municipality.
