Herat will move towards a developed city with the Strategic Plan (SDF)

Introduction of Strategic Development Framework (SDF) program of Herat city with the presence of Herat Hazrat Mushfeq, Mayor of Herat, heads, deputies and representatives of chambers of commerce and investment, agriculture and livestock, industry and craftsmen, deputy advisory board of municipal administration, provincial experts and a number of businessmen Took.
The Strategic Development Framework (SDF) of Herat city is a planning document that focuses on providing a roadmap for large investments in the development of the city. This plan comprehensively identifies all the strengths and weaknesses for the sustainable and ideal development of the city of Herat.
Gholam Hazrat Mushfeq, Mayor of Herat, stating that the SDF is a 20-year development plan for the city of Herat, stated that the Municipality is interested in introducing projects planned in this strategic development framework so that the private sector can keep pace with the current government, especially the municipality. And contribute to the development of their city.
The Mayor of Herat, expressing satisfaction that the investment in this plan is in a way that provides common interests (both government and private sector), considered this the best time for large-scale investment in Herat city and beyond.
Meanwhile, Gholam Farooq Nadim, Advisor for Development and Reconstruction of the "EU Support to Herat Municipality" program, stressed that Herat has a high capacity for development and the SDF is the basis for macroeconomic investments, in which these investments are based on project plans. Both sides will have a "win-win" role.
The heads, deputies and representatives of the four economic chambers of Herat province (chambers of commerce and investment, agriculture and livestock, industry and craftsmen) expressed satisfaction with the finalization of the plan and called it a good basis for investor confidence.
In this program, each of the heads, deputies and representatives of the four economic chambers of Herat province, while announcing their readiness to invest in large projects of this plan, ensured their participation in projects that serve the public and private sector.
Recently, Abdul Rahman Maulvi Zadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Municipality, stated that we must all move in a certain direction for the development and progress of our city, and Herat province with its capable private sector has a significant capacity for progress.
