Elders and residents of the Eighth District reported their problems to the mayor of Herat

Passers-by, elders and residents of Khawaja neighborhoods and the five-meter-high alleyway in the Eighth District discussed the basic needs of the Herat mayor during a meeting with Herat's mayor.
Residents of the Eighth District demanded the attention of the Herat Municipality leadership to pave, concretize and meet their other needs, citing many problems during the cold season each year.
Further, Herat mayor Ghulam expressed hope that development programs in the area would begin; he stated that in the coming fiscal year, in addition to Herat municipality development projects, the National Citizenship Covenant Program would also meet the basic needs of citizens in the first to eighth districts.
The Herat mayor also urged residents of the Herat Eighth District to cooperate with the Herat Municipality in paying for municipal services, increasing the revenue of the department, developing and improving their neighborhoods.
