The Bakers' Association reported their problems to the mayor of Herat
Members of the Herat Province Bakers' Association shared their problems with the mayor of Herat Ghulam Hazrat Mushfiq on the day of the public meeting.
Problems raised during the meeting were lack of coherence, unlicensed activity, and failure to comply with legal standards by a number of bakers.
The mayor of Herat, insisting on the integrity and responsibility of the guilds in accordance with the law, stated that all guilds and craftsmen in the city should be legally licensed for their activity and paid for their deacon's time and service product.
Mr. Mushfaq also spoke about the health and technical evaluation of the city's bakers' guild by the municipality and related departments and called for compliance with the health, service and occupational aspects of the guild.
