Preparations for the start of dozens of improvement projects in 15 districts of Herat city worth $ 3 million

Officials of the World Bank City Investment Projects (CIP) during a joint meeting with the presence of Gholam Hazrat Mushfeq, Mayor of Herat, district commanders, officials of partner institutions and technical engineers of the Municipality, prepared for the start of tens of improvement projects in 15 districts of Herat report.

These projects, which are short-term and do not require surveying and design, should be implemented in the form of urgent activities such as cleaning urban areas, improving green space, improving boulevards and roads (gravel and excavation). Officials of the World Bank's Urban Investment Program (CIP) have stated that the purpose of implementing these projects is to implement intensive economic improvement projects in urban areas and is to be implemented at a cost of more than $ 3 million.
