11th District residents meet with Herat Mayor

Residents of the 11th District discussed the environmental and border issues of the area during a meeting with Ghulam Hazrat Mushafiq, the mayor of Herat, on the day of the meeting.
They cited a number of developmental delays and lack of clear boundaries between some areas of the 11th District and neighboring districts as major problems and called for the Herat Municipality leadership's attention.
Ghulam Hazrat Mushfiq, Herat Mayor, stated that the development, completion and termination stages of all development projects were carried out in accordance with the country's Public Procurement Law and that the contracting company had to report regularly to the Bureau from its inception. He added that the municipality will work to continue the project.
The mayor of Herat continued to discuss border delineation between the 11th district and its neighboring districts at a provincial administrative meeting and assured that the problem would be resolved as soon as possible in cooperation with the Herat province.
