3500 The seedlings were planted on the roof of Herat

Herat Governor Abdul Qayyum Rahimi, Herat Ghulam Hazrat Mushfiq and a group of local officials and officials today planted 3500 seedlings on the slopes of Herat's roof during a visit to the city's green belt improvement process.
Herat's governor urged the public to share with the municipality the process of refurbishing and planting seedlings throughout the city, emphasizing that the Herat Local Authority is focused on improving, developing and maintaining the city's green space.
Meanwhile, Herat Mayor Mushafiq Herat spoke of the plan of the municipal office to plant 80000 to 100000 saplings, flowers and ornaments in the Green Belt and Green areas of the city, and expressed hope that the office would make dramatic changes in the coming year. Parks and boulevards will be unveiled during the growth of the city's green space.
Herat Mayor also emphasized that citizens need to have an active stake in having a green city and considered preserving, nurturing, growing the city's green space a priority for the municipality in the current fiscal year.
Not long ago, Herat municipality launched a green program to improve the green space, complete the green belt, encourage citizens to plant seedlings, and with the participation of local government officials, advisory councils and district attorneys across the city, five seedlings were planted on belt slopes.
