Meeting of Herat Province Public Health and Environment Officers with the Herat Mayor

Officials from Herat's Department of Public Health and Environment discussed a joint effort to prevent and reduce sari-related illnesses at a meeting with Herat's mayor Ghulam Mushafiq.
Officials in both departments expressed concern about the spread of various diseases in the heat season, particularly those transmitted from stray dogs to the human body, and called for the establishment of mobile teams to eliminate rabies dogs in the fifteen metropolitan areas.
Ghulam Hazrat Mushafiq, Mayor of Herat, considered the work of the municipal departments, environment and public health to reduce animal and human diseases as valuable as possible for the safety of the citizens and assured the comprehensive cooperation of the municipality in this regard.
The Herat mayor also expressed hope that these offices would take significant steps to reduce the dangers of sari, greater greenery, growth and development of the city's green space through the heat season.
However, municipal agencies, the public health and the environment are always taking precautionary measures to eliminate stray dogs, planting, growing and developing green space on the eve of the heat season.
