First-Layer Asphalt Paving Work Underway Along the Eastern Lane of the Main Road from Mustofiat to Bagh-e-Murad Intersection in District 8 of Herat City.

Herat Municipality has begun the first-layer asphalt paving work along the eastern lane of the main road from Mustofiat to Bagh-e-Murad Intersection, located in District 8 of Herat City.

The road is scheduled to be paved in two asphalt layers and will be opened for public use upon completion.

The project, with a length of 850 meters and a width of 5 meters, is being implemented at a total cost of AFN 5,687,700 from the development budget of Herat Municipality.

Meanwhile, Herat Municipality officials and supervising engineers visited the project site to monitor the ongoing asphalt paving work and emphasized that the project must be implemented in accordance with technical standards.

The project aims to improve the urban road network, facilitate the movement of vehicles and residents, and reduce dust in the area.
