Inauguration and Commencement of the Zain-ul-Abideen Road Asphalt Paving Project, Costing Approximately AFN 4.5 Million, in the Fourteenth District of Herat Municipality by the Mayor of Herat and His Accompanying Delegation

The Zain-ul-Abideen Road Asphalt Paving Project, located in the Fourteenth District of Herat City, has been completed and officially inaugurated at a cost of approximately AFN 4.5 million from the development budget of Herat Municipality.

The project covers a total length of more than 400 meters, with road widths of 8 and 12 meters, and includes the construction of drainage canals on both sides of the road. The project was implemented by Negin Azizi Construction and Road Construction Company.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Honorable Haji Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani, Mayor of Herat; Engineer Mohammad Ayoub Saif-ul-Jihad, Director of Technical and Professional Affairs of the Municipality; the Head of the Fourteenth District; the Head of the Mayor’s Office; an Inspector from the Monitoring and Evaluation Department; community elders; local representatives; heads of local development councils; and a number of officials from relevant departments of the Municipality.

Meanwhile, residents of the Fourteenth District expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the project, describing it as an effective step toward improving road conditions, facilitating transportation, and managing surface water. They also expressed their full support for all municipal programs aimed at the development and expansion of the city.

On the other hand, officials of the contracting company stated that the project was implemented in accordance with the technical specifications and established standards, while ensuring the required quality.
