Construction of the Ishaq Suleiman Stone Canal Project Officially Launched in Herat's District 13
The construction project of the Ishaq Suleiman Stone Canal, located in District 13 of Herat City, was officially inaugurated by Haji Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani, Mayor of Herat, in the presence of Engineer Mohammad Ayub Saif-ul-Jihad, Technical and Professional Director of Herat Municipality, the Head of District 13, an inspector from the Municipality's Monitoring and Evaluation Department, local elders, and a number of residents of District 13.
The project has a total length of 450 meters and is being implemented at a cost of AFN 2,392,000, funded through the development budget of Herat Municipality.
On the occasion, residents of the Ishaq Suleiman area expressed their appreciation for the commencement of the project, stating that upon completion, the canal will resolve long-standing drainage problems and prevent the accumulation of surface water, providing significant convenience and improved living conditions for the residents of the area.
The project is expected to be completed within just over one calendar month by Mohammad Kabiri Construction and Road Building Company, after which it will be officially put into operation.
