Herat Municipality successfully becomes a member of the Open Government Partnership (OGP)

Following the announcement of the Open Government Partnership Organization (OGP) that the Herat Municipality is a member of this group, the conference on the implementation of the Second National Open Government Partnership Action Plan by Integrity Watch Afghanistan and the Secretariat of Open Government Partnership held.

Afghanistan has recently been included in the Second National Action Plan of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the implementation of the government's obligations to extend the four principles of open government participation (transparency, access to information, accountability and e-government). And the service departments, especially the municipalities of the country, had to become members of this group, which the Herat municipality administration was able to successfully obtain.
